Court Cards
The Kings
​Kings represent the influence of masculine energy. They denote power and mastery of their suit and can appear in life as partners, father figures and men in authority. ​All four Kings can also be linked with the characteristics (or an aspect) of The Emperor in the Major Arcana, who represents the ‘father’ in the deck and symbolises order and leadership.

The King of Wands- Charismatic and entrepreneurial.
​The King of Pentacles- Loyal and protective.
​The King of Swords- Logical and educated.
​The King of Cups- Loving and compassionate.

The Queens
​Queens represent the influence of feminine energy. They denote creative and nurturing qualities and can appear in life as partners, mother figures and a source of guidance. All four Queens can also be linked with the characteristics (or an aspect) of The Empress in the Major Arcana, who represents the ‘mother’ in the deck and symbolises love and abundance.

The Knights​
Knights represent the movement and action of the energy of their suit. They are young adults who are in training to become masters of their suit, so they can be immature, irresponsible and reckless at times. ​Knights can advise us of incoming changes that relate to the energy of their suit;
